Trading & Operations Analyst

Main Management is in search of a Trading and Operations Analyst. Main Management is an Investment Advisor, serving a wide range of Advisors, High Net Worth Individual and Institutional Clients. A pioneer of ETF investing, Main’s investing approach is highly diversified and tax-aware with a goal of long-term wealth growth. An ideal candidate is a proactive entrepreneurial associate with a passion for high-touch service. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain allocation models for clients and Turnkey Asset Management Platforms (TAMPs)
  • Monitor financial markets and execute trades on behalf of clients/PMs, adhering to established trading strategies and risk management
  • Responsible for trade reconciliation, trade amendments, regulatory & management reporting, and issue resolution
  • Initiate and follow through to completion new account application paperwork
  • Interface with and meet client needs: cash and security transfers, send and receive data and forms from clients
  • Assess the performance of all vendors and counterparties of the ETFs for which we are the manager
  • Review and report on account transactions and portfolio performance, maintain security performance tracking data, perform daily custodian account reconciliation
  • Maintain and further improve CRM database and its utility
  • Create analytical models in Excel and prepare marketing and business development material in Power Point
  • Assist advisors by entering data into investment and asset allocation models

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economic or a related field
  • Basic understanding of the market and its conditions
  • Prior experience or internship in finance, trading, or investment management is a plus
